Adam Katz
Adam Katz is Vice President and General Counsel of the Mimms Companies (Mimms Enterprises, Inc. and the Malon D. Mimms Company, LLC). Adam has practiced law since 2001 and has served as Mimms’ primary legal counsel since 2006. In his role at Mimms, Adam handles and manages all legal aspects of the Mimms Companies’ commercial real estate transactions, including sale, acquisition, financing and leasing matters, and provides legal support to the leasing, accounting, property management and collections teams. Adam also manages and counsels the Mimms Companies’ and their related entities in all general corporate legal and administrative matters.
Adam previously served as partner in the former Atlanta, Georgia law firm of Kitchens, Kelley, Gaynes, P.C, and as Corporate Real Estate Counsel with Aaron Rents, Inc., an NYSE corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Adam received a B.A. in political science from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and a J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law. Adam is a member of State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Association of Corporate Counsel, and has been admitted to Georgia Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia and United States District Court, Middle District of Georgia.
